Are Sardines good food?

So I recently read an article about how good Sardines are for the human body and that researchers were debating whether or not it is the best meat for you. So I got to thinking, Sardines in the can, once seperated from the oil normally used for packaging, must be really good for fish to eat. So I tested my theory and they love them.

Anybody else tried this?

Yes I agree with Wayne, they are extremely oily and since they are made for human consumption, prolly contain preservatives and such that may not be present in packaged fish food....

Fish are prone to digestive problems so it may not be such a good idea.
