Yes. I had one for months, then ran skimmerless, and noticed almost no difference.
Mine leaked where the plastic tube connects to the bottom of the skimmer (yours will too) and started a small electrical fire. I don't know whether I had a particularly defective sad excuse for a skimmer or what.

I don't know all the technical names to it--I'm talking about the tube on the outside leaking. I think the riser tube is on the inside.
I believe Kahluazzz had one too--he can chime in on what a Seaclone didn't do for him.

Works great compared to what ?!!?
It plainly sucks...i'm lucky i sold mine 60 bucks yesterday.
They work poorly and need adjustment every 2-3 days. The air input gets clogged...the seaclone design was made by a 7 year old kid.
Mhh...Fishchaser. Don't listen to them ?

Remora all the way. If noise is an issue cpr bakpak's are quieter, not quite as good performers. Or a second hand bargain
