I just started an aquarium this summer. I currently have on bluegill sunny in the tank. A few months after I've had her, she started growing these things on her. They start out as a fleshy bloody color, and then grow out into a white tubular shaped thing with two strings or tennacles sticking out the end. They are located mostly on the base of her fins and tail. Does anyone have any idea what these are?
