Arrgh spots on my fish!!!

My rainbows have spots on their fins not their bodys. It does not look like ich but i am not 100% sure. Any sugestions!!!

i just tried taking pics no go they just will not turn out, that link is great but i am still unsure. I have had ich before

Are the spots all the same size? Are some of them increasing in size?

They seem to be the same size but they are not multiplying yet so i dont know what is going on. It has only happened withing the last few hours.

oh yeah and it is only on 4 of the 6 fish and some have roughly 5 spots and some only have 1 or 2 spots.

Sounds to me like a fungus of some sort... Have you tried asking someone at your local fish store? Sorry I can't help but I'll ask around and do some sniffen and let you know if I find anything.

Did you look at the picture in the link? Does it look like that?

Why do you say it doesn't look like ich? I would say you really need to know what you're dealing with (ich or bacteria) before you start treatment.

no it does not look like that. There are still the same amout of spots on the fishas there were last night. They have not grown in size either. Yes i totally agree on having to know what i am dealing with before treatment, besides nothing is open today so i am euchared anyway. Now today is water change day so what do you think would be a good amount to take out normally it is roughly 40%. I think this amout should still be fine unless there is a specific reason for not doing this please let me know.
