ive been looking at these guys for a while and was wondering if they are good or bad in a reef tank... i thought they would eat feather worms but they have them in the tank with their feathers

It would eat your firefish when it gets big enough..and would be eaten by your triggers or porquipine puffer...they really arent reef safe when they get big...and they get big fast.

usualy reef safe is also implied to not being compatible with fish, my mantis shrimp is said to not be reef safe, but can be kept with corals, just do your self a favor and dont buy one, they get to big and will kill and eat anything they can catch

Unles you've got one of the few entirely photosynthetic gorgonians, expect it to start falling ot pieces in short order. Most of the brightly coloured ones need feeding, and are not straightforward to feed (live zooplankton)
