Anyone have a suggestion as to what the best automatic fish feeder is? I bought one of the cheap $20 ones on Ebay and it lasted about 2 months before it broke. I am now looking to spend whatever it costs to get one that will last and work properly.

Thanks,
Pete

First of all why do u need one? Are u constantly on trips or working out of town? Cuz if not then thats kinda lazy, no offence. Automatic feeders are more so for vacations/working type people i'd believe because watchin your fish during feeding times is fun to see them go crazy after the flakes, pellets or whatever.

well if i dont care about cost, then anything made by Eheim should be good. It costs like $90 US, but heres the description, not sure how many days it can feed either.

ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED PROGRAMMING ALLOWS UP TO 4 DAILY FEEDING CYCLES WITH A CHOICE BETWEEN SINGLE OR DOUBLE RATIONS. A MANUAL FEED BUTTON ALLOWS YOU TO FEED YOUR FISH MANUALLY. AT A GLANCE, THE SEE-THROUGH CONTAINER ENABLES YOU TO VIEW THE ACTUAL AMOUNT OF FOOD LEFT. HAS AN EXCLUSIVEVENTILATION SYSTEM & RESTING POSITION THAT GUARANTEE ABSOLUTELY DRY FLAKE FOOD.MOUNTS TO THE TOP OF YOUR AQUARIUM HOOD.
Then Hagen makes a few good ones
