Automatic water changer

Just curious if anyone has tried this product:

It's cheaper than a python and totally automated including the dechlor process. Do you think it's worth a try or just go for the python?

Threw one away last year, could not see how jetting the water through a nozzle would remove the chlorine, I could still smell it after use, makes you wonder how good it actually is.

sounds like it would work but after clothahump's response I would reconsider because as he said it appears a little weird that chlorine would be eliminated by jetting through a tube. And at 5 gallons per hour I think itd be rather time consuming

yeah, total waste, and combine that with the fact that doing 5 gallons of water change with this is not a 5 gallon water change at all, as it is also removing part of the clean water that just went into your tank. The math for this one is tricky. You'd have to change quite a bit mor than 5 gallons to get a real 5 gallon water change.
