Baby kribs think chubby cory is momma

I had the babies with their mom in a 10, and she jumped out and died a few days ago. I put the cory's in there cause I figured they'd like the 10 better, and now the babies follow her around!

One question, what happened to the father, wouldn't he help take care of the fry?

I took the dad out after about a week and left them with just the mom. I figured the dad wouldn't recognize them since he already paired up with the other krib I had in my 29. Plus the fry are getting around pretty good now. They're all over the tank. They're about 2 cm long right now, and starting to look like actual fish. I just drop in 1/2 an algae tab in there and do a 10% water change daily.
