Here's a couple of pics of my baby Neolamprogus. I have two N. pulcher and one N. brichardi, so I'm not sure if it's a pulcher or a mix. I have two from this spawn that made it. I had no idea I even had eggs in that tank :)

Very cute. I would imagine that if you watch the fish though, it should become very obvious who the parents are...Neolamps (especially brichardi and pulchers) are typically little terrors when they pair up. I'm surprised whoever was the third wheel is still alive.

I have heard of a few cases where trio's formed instead of pairs. I don't know how well this worked out in the long term though. May have been nothing more than a 'booty call' :D

Little terrors they are, but they are fun to keep even in a species only setup. Congrats Lotus! Nice to see that we've been rubbing off on you guys a little bit.

We had some Brichardis before, and kind of liked them, but sold them at an auction. I guess Ecotank missed them, because we bought these at an auction six months or a year later. :)

We had to move them after the bristlenoses bred, as they ate most of the BN fry (we didn't know we had them). The adults are not happy where they are now, but we'll see if we can work out a new tank for them. We only discovered the fry after the parents had been removed.

heh very cool. I really did like the brichardis too, very pretty little fish...but I agree they're best in a species only situation...terrorized and over populated the rest of my tank lol.
