Baby Snail

I found a baby snail in my tank and I plan on keeping it. But before I leave it in there until it grows up I want to know if Apple Snails eat Java Fern and Wisteria?

if its a baby snail lol most likely its a pond snail.. and my mystery and ramhorn only seem to snack on the plants..

Warning make sure there is only one baby snail. My bf got a snail on a plant he bought and there must have been another one he didn't see, now his tank is infested with baby snails. If you know how to get rid of them it would be helpful lol.

They shouldn't unless they aren't getting enough other foods. I have many Apple Snails and they just crawl on the plants but never eat them.

As far as I know, mystery snail is a generic name given to many types of snails.
