Well, today I went to visit a breeder near me to pick up some
bettas. I got three bettas, a few clumps of javamoss and some other
plant, and a jar full of glassworms for $20 :). I bought a DT royal
female, a ST royal male (almost HM), and a cellophane marble male.
No names yet, but pics are up at:

That male has really nice thick fins, the kind you seem to only find at a breeder!

That was a really good buy! I am going to pick-up a colony of micro-worms from a local breeder in a couple days... hopefully I will have some fry to feed soon!

Yep, he has a thick dorsal, which is really good. And since DTs have unusually large dorsals, I should get some nice looking STs. The cello isn't all to much to brag about yet, but I think he is only 2.5 months old or so. Thanks guys for all the comments :). I am going to breed the royals together in a week or two...we'll see if I have better luck this time with them.

To tape or not to tape....that is the question. LOL

Now seriously speaking, I have changed my mind on who's spawning to who. I am going to cross the marble to the DT royal female (Tiger Lily) so I can get a variation rather than Blues, Steels, and Greens.

P.S. The tape is to be used as an informational video...not like THAT ;).
