Back from the breeders...

Well, today I went to visit a breeder near me to pick up some
bettas. I got three bettas, a few clumps of javamoss and some other
plant, and a jar full of glassworms for $20 . I bought a DT royal
female, a ST royal male (almost HM), and a cellophane marble male.

That male has really nice thick fins, the kind you seem to only find at a breeder!

That was a really good buy! I am going to pick-up a colony of micro-worms from a local breeder in a couple days... hopefully I will have some fry to feed soon!

Yep, he has a thick dorsal, which is really good. And since DTs have unusually large dorsals, I should get some nice looking STs. The cello isn't all to much to brag about yet, but I think he is only 2.5 months old or so. Thanks guys for all the comments . I am going to breed the royals together in a week or two...we'll see if I have better luck this time with them.

your new bettas are beautiful, I especially love the colors of your royal male. I can't wait to see those babies Don't forget to get it on video, Rigel and Reena might still need help, and variety is the spice of life (same video gets boring) roflmao

To tape or not to tape....that is the question. LOL

Now seriously speaking, I have changed my mind on who's spawning to who. I am going to cross the marble to the DT royal female (Tiger Lily) so I can get a variation rather than Blues, Steels, and Greens.
