I just can't seem to keep Cory Cats alive! I had three in my 20g originally... moved them to my 90g when it was setup... and then bought them three more friends. I'm done to three right now with one of them dying in a breeder trap. I don't think he'll last the day (He's the one that lost the eye). They never seem stressed or anything and always eat well, but I'm constantly finding them belly-up!
My only thoughts of slight aggression go to my Clown Loaches, who are both crazy snail-obsessed lunatics. They tend to get a little nippy with the other fish and like to chase their tank-mates, but I've never seen anything completely aggressive. We do think though, that the CLs are mistaking the other fishes' eyes for snails and that's why they're chasing them... but that's only a theory.
Has anyone ever experienced trouble keeping Clown Loaches with Cory Cats? Any ideas as to why I'm losing these guys so easily? Thanks
