balloon molly scales growing over eyes.

I have a male balloon molly had since fry. He has weird scales that are "clumpy" looking and falling off. It looks like how some of them have the bubbly kinda scales on the forehead area, only all his are like that. Now they are growing over his eyes. he is orange so I know its not some type of fungus or whatnot. He has always had a deformed mouth , but is a happy little guy otherwise. Just wondered if anybody ever had something like this.It's almost like a psoriasis kinda looking scales. Can't find any info.

It could be bacterial, if you can post a pic it would be beneficial.

Is your tank cycled ?

What are your Ammonia \ Nitrite \ Nitrate levels at ?

If your stats are stable and at 0 \ 0 \ <40 you might see if some tea tree \ melafix will help, they are natural antibiotics and will speed healing of damaged area's

If your fish is starting to look like a Pinecone, bloated, scales sticking out etc, that's dropsy.

All of this is just speculation however without more info \ pictures to look at.
