banana pleco?

i was at a local lfs the other day, and they had a few different plecos, one being a "banana pleco". i was curious since i hadn't heard of this particular plec, so i've tried to look it up... and on both google and yahoo, when i put "banana pleco" in quotations, i only get ONE hit, which has a site that lists it as L17b. anyone know anything about this guy? he was kinda ugly, *SUPERSMIL but now he's got me curious!

i'm thinking you might be right. this was my first time at this lfs, and i liked it for the most part (better than a chain like petco/petsmart), but i definitely spotted a few no-no's.

our 'banana pleco' looked like he could have just been an albino pleco... ;)
