Banded bandit

I have one. He is maybe 2 inches long, and growing fast. They are aggressive. Mine is a fin nipper and kind of a bully. He even trys to sneak up behind my Giant Danios and Large Rainbow fish, but they put him in his place. Other than that they are awesome fish to watch, not scared and very curious. They also have great coloring, mine is very vibrant bright yellow and black. They love pieces of algae tablets and shrimp.

I have one too! He's so great! Mine stays in one spot in the tank and doesn't really bother anyone else. I imagine that if another fish tried to get in his spot, he'd get very territorial. He's really fun to watch during feeding time!

Hello; Had a Lepornius many years ago. It may not have been the same type as you are posting about. I began to think of it as a swimming lawn mower. It pretty much wiped out a nicely planted tank before I was able to move it to an unplanted tank.
