Batik Loach?

Has anyone ever owned one of these loaches? Would they be compatible with Dwarf Gouramis inna 30G?

I absolutely fell in love with thier patterning!

I have to agree, it looks pretty cool All I found out from loaches.com was that they are new, and from India.

I hope he is as cool and friendly as the other loaches seem to be. Then again, a gourami isn't the most placid of fish.

Have you found somewhere that sells these? (I think we are at our max of loaches, but I am just curious).

That's such a nice loach They are expensive, though... $16 for a 2" fish. And of course you would want 3 or more. I hope they become popular, and more widely available soon. I will certainly be looking out for some.

I am thinking they would prefer a sand substrate like other loaches, and might not look as good against that.

Not look good against a sand substrate? I can see with the regular 'sand' colored sand, but there's ton's of colors available...

My lfs has some. They're pretty cool but they move kinda funny, if that matters. And yea, the ones I saw were expensive too. Don't remember how much but it was up there.
