Ok.

I went to my LFS and they had a small saltwater tank... I would say 10-15 gallons, but I couldnt tell cuz its a weird shape... anyways there was a small clownfish and a small blue fish... i dont know what kind.

I asked the owner of the LFS and he said the whole rig costs around 250-300$ and all you have to do once its balanced and ret up is replaced evaporated water.

Is this true?

I have many freshwater tanks, and Im thinking of buying a saltwater like this one. I would just get a clownfish and maby one other.

What do you guys think? are they alot of fun? Do they require alot of work? etc.

Just tell me about it.

Well they need regular water changes and some maintenance. Get it right and you'll be ok, but this is a comparatively small tank, so get it wrong, and whammo, wipeout.
How well do you know your lfs owner - get him to come to your house and show you how to maintain it.
At 250 - 300 dollars is it so much more to get a larger, more stable, lesslimiting 20long or something? Try to make your life easier
