behavior - locatia botias

I have a pair of Botias, and occasionally one of them will swim up to another fish in my tank, usually one of my female Sailfin Mollies and swim with it touching her body, almost like a mating ritual. The Molly doesn't mind this and the Botia just follows up and down/around the tank rubbing on her. Very odd.
What does this behavior mean?

He may be waiting/wanting her to drop fry?? Fish do learn where food comes from, but yes that is very odd.

ah, that would make sense! she is very pregnant

Several of my botias do that. To me it just seems like they're playing.

You should really get another to form a group of them, they prefer that to pairs.
