Best fungus remedy?

What are the recommendations for a fungus remedy? I am using melafix on my platy baby right now. Anyone have any other ideas?

Melafix, along with extra water changes should be fine, unless it's a severe infection. It's unlikely it's fungal, more likely bacterial.

Is melafix alright for bacterial or should I be using somthing else? He just has a small amount of white between his eyes on the top of his head.
