I'm trying to stock up for unforseen "events" that may happen.  Already do have some.  What is everyones best advice as far as medications to have on hand? And, what are the best ones that will treat for the most illnesses?

Our medication of choice has been clout.  Seems to work for a pile of different things.  Has knocked out all the diseases that couldn't be taken down by other stuff.  Can't really recommend much else, since we've only ever needed clout and it's been successful for us.

Salt is good to have on hand. It cures ich, except on scaless fish, it kills them. Also, have test kits for pH, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite, if you don't already. I also have fizzy tablets that you drop in the tank to cure different tropical fish diseases like cotton mouth and body slime and stuff. I've never had either in my tank, but have the medication just in case. It's always better to prevent diseases ahead of time, though, by keeping the tank clean and everything, since some diseases are really hard to treat.  ;)Good luck!

Thanks.  I have salt, test kits, ick stuff, and fungus eliminator, but don't have Clout.  Have to check that out.  Just curious.  I ran into an ick issue and had to run out at 3am to get stuff one night.  Just wanted to be prepared in case of an emergency so a 3am run needn't happen again.  I may not be able to get what I may need at that time.  It's better for me to have things on hand.  Thanks for the advice! :)

Forgot to mention earlier, clout does have a bad side...if you use it to treat for any length of time, it'll turn silicon adhesive and air tubing blue.  To us, tho, mild trade off for the effectiveness.
