Betta and Guppies?

Will a male betta leave fancytail guppies or endler's alone?

I know someone who had a beta in with a fancy guppy, lets just say the guppy is no longer here to tell the tale of what happened.

Male bettas don't usually bother other fish, its always their own species. I say go for it. My betta don't bother anybody in my tank. And if they did, male bettas move about as fast as a my grandma up a couple of flights of stairs, at least mine does.

btw, did you ever get ahold of dave about those dwarf cichlids?

Thanx for askin'. Naw, not yet. I'm trying to get this 90 gal. up and started so I could move my oscars. I'm also probably getting a 55 gal. for those cichlids. The only thing I'll be contacting dave about is for one of those books. I like to learn about the fish I'm getting before I get them and I have a lot of questions too. how much are them books anyway, the cichlid atlas?
