Betta and others

i have a 10 gal. tank with a betta, those fish that look like sharks and a number of plants and snails, what other fish can i add to the community without getting their eyes ripped out by the betta??

In a 10G tank with a betta your choices are very limited due to the size of the tank. Do you know the name of the "fish that looks like sharks" and how many of them do you have? If the betta gets along with other fish, it will usually get along best with fish that stay out of the betta's way and do not challenge it with similar colors or flowing tails...so no guppies.

hmm... if "those fish that look like sharks" are bala sharks- just know they get to be about 9 inches long (i think) and it'd be cruel to keep them in their OWN ten gallon at their adult size. i wouldn't add any more fish, and bettas do like to be by themselves

i heard that bala sharks can get to about 13 inches but in depends how well you take care of it and the size of your tank.
