Betta Bubbles Are Here

My betta, George, is doing really well. He just loves his new home after being in it one week. Now, there are bubbles all over the top of the water. I think that means he is preparing a nest. Does he think a female is going to suddenly appear in the water?

Its a Betta thing!! They do that a lot. My sons tank is always full of little bubbles from his little Betta and they don't pop like regular bubbles do either

He'd like to think so! Nest-building can be a sign of contentment; he's a happy boy. Healthy enough to focus his energy on building a nest. I think they're so cute when they're doing it
