betta feeding?

How often do you feed your betta? How often do you switch up between pellets and freeze dried foods? I just want to make sure I am feeding enough and not overfeeding.

Bettas need less food than other fish, like danios, because they are less active. I fed my betta once a day, alternating between freeze dried bloodworms, pellets, and frozen brine shrimp/bloodworms/whiteworms. You could also opt to feed twice a day in very small amounts. Whatever the betta doesn't eat needs to be removed within an hour.

I feed mine once a day with with a small amount of either pellets, shrimp, bloodworms, or flake...sometimes a mixture. In the ten gallon I have other fish so the excess is usually taken care of.
