My betta fish keeps blowing massive bubblenests, but they always end up breaking apart within a few days, only to be rebuilt after his next water change. Does anyone know whey they keep breaking? Is there any way to save them? (I don't plan on mating him, I just like the look of the bubble nest).

There is no current in his tank.

the bubbles eventually break. Don't worry, him constantly building them means he is in good condition and quite happy in his surroundings. He rebuilds them with the water change because it simulates rain in his natural environment.

the bubblenest's ability to hold together is slightly affected by slow moving water and air humidity. I also would worry about them holding together for the reasons that Doom said. its a good sign. if you want to you can try covering the tank with plastic wrap to keep humidity high, but the bubbles will still break overnight when he is not building.
