When I have the light over the tank on but the room lights off, my betta starts flaring because I think he starts seeing his reflection in the tank sides. I leave the tank light on for about 8-10 hours a day for the plants, but the room light is off when I'm not in my room. Will he eventually get used to this and stop flaring and darting around? I've been trying to get him to be used to it, but 2 hours in and he still does it. I don't want to have to leave my room light on all the time when I'm not home, so I hope he gets used to his own reflection. Will this stress him too much? Thanks.
