Betta for 29 community?

Could i put a betta in a29 gal with2 DWARF gouramis, and 12 neon tetras? I really want a crowntail!

Is this Betta a male or female? If it is a male, NO. If it is a female, YES. My son has a 30 gallon with a female Betta and 10 other community fish and they all get along great!

Really? Ive read elsewhere that people have had dwarfs and a male betta and they got along fine, with the occasional flaring, i may try a female, but i was hoping for a male

I have a had male with gourami's but all bettas have different personalities. Some are just to aggressive.

k i wont get one then, i spent too much on all my other fish to have them destroyed by a betta, or vice versa
