betta not eating

my male betta hasnt been eating, hes not sick he just wont eat
usually if my betta wont eat i dont feed it for like a couple days and after that they get hungry and eat what i fed them. so far ive ttried flakes, pellets and frozen. ii wanna use live but my lps doesnt carry live food

What is the water condition like? How about your betta's color? Any noticeable changes, etc?

i keep him in clean water change it everyweek or every 3-4 days
and he looks normal, but the ends of his fins are thinning

its uaually around 73-78F but sometimes at nite it gets around 69-70F
