Betta pimple

My betta seems to have a pimple on his face right in front of his eye. It has been there for about 2-3 weeks and does not seem to be getting better. It's red and looks inflamed. (see pics below)

He's eating normally and seems fine. He gets a regular water change once a week and the parameters in the bowl are normal.

Any ideas on what it is and how to fix it?

take him to a pet store and ask them for the 3 year i had 10 bettas and Ive never seen anything like that

i have absolutely no clue maybe some kind of weird disease try a salt treatment a little bit of aquarium salt in the water and lots of water changes for a week or so but im not positive on how much salt to use so try using bettafix you can get it at the petshop and just follow the instructions see if that helps any

I've seen pictures of carcinoma on bettas that look like that- Or a really bad bacterial issue (he looks too healthy for that though) I honestly don't know- although I doubt the pet store would either- maybe try emailing a breeder?
