What is the best colour for a male betta?

Sapphire Blueish?
Emerald Greenish?

Aqua Bid has so many diffrent color variations. I'm glad I ran across it, yellow bettas are gorgeous but I can't wait to see a yellow/orange betta. Mmm sunsettyness.

If it wasn't for me being paranoid about shipping I'd have a wall of 'em right now.

There are TONS of variations besides those colors. My favorites are patriotics and opaques.

I love super bright red bettas! They are quite hard to find around here. Most of the red betta's I've seen are more of a dark cherry or megenta color which I don't like. Hmmm..... I wish I had a betta that looked like this:

OoOooOo sexy!

I'm a sucker for crowntails just because of thier wild spiky look.. kinda reminds me of the old Punk days, hehe.

But if I were to get one in the near future, I'd stick with a half-moon. Those get the oooo's and ahhh's from my friends.

I have seven bettas and my two favorites colors (but I love them all) are my latest additions.

One is a marble with purple, white, and light blue...the other is a yellow with a bright turquoise band about 1/4 inch wide at the base of the tail and the base of the caudle fin...absolutely beautiful!

ooooooooooo Superfishy, I like that CT. I saw one at Pets Unlimited yesterday, but I kinda wondered if maybe he had just been a regular veil tail who is recovering from ripped fins.

I love female bettas- I got a new one on the weekend, she's pale pink with purply red fins and little black eyes like a baby seal. A totally cute fish!

Just be sure you guys don't buy a melano female if you want to breed those blacks. They are sterile. Thats why many people cross that steel blue into melano so they can get fertile females. Or you can buy black laces, which carry the marble gene.

I saw a new colour variation at the Asian betta breeder's. It's called "Mustard Gas". Light yellow/white opaque with chocolate edgings and streaks to the fins. He has them in heart-shaped, half moons, and deltas. He's breeding for a crown-tailed. They are beautiful!!!

Mustdard Gas is very pretty. Its usually yellow and purple/blue though. The yellow and browns are called Chocolates. Bcbetta.com usually has great MG's, but unfortunately for many people, they are sold out the day they get put on the Stock page.
