betta question

hey, i just bought a betta from my lfs and Im not sure how old he is. His fins look a little messed up 2days ago and they seem to be getting better. He looks like he's quite old but I dont know much about bettas. he is around 2.3 inch long incl fin. thanks.

bettas at the lfs are usually at least a year old when you buy them, im not sure how to tell a bettas age though hehe

anywhere from 8 months to 1 1/2 years old. Bigger is usually older.
