Betta tank

I am going to be getting a betta and wanted to know what kind of plants I can have in a 1g Pentagon tank with very very very low lights. Can Iget those bulbs from Walmarts?

In those really small tanks, you can't really put any light that will work for plants. To be honest, I had one of those tanks, and it made my betta miserable. The UGF is ineffective, and the tank is too small to use a heater on, so the temperature swings were bad.

your best bet is get a bigger tank if you want real plants. Also your betta will dig the room also.

Yeah I think when I get my 20 I am going to put the betta in the 10 and put it out here in my living room and probally get some really kool schoolers. Thanks.

5g works well too.Ive put some duckweed and java fern.I use my table light to light it up

Okay I founbd a $49 Eclipse 3g and a $46 Eclipse 5 and I think for space it would be the 3 but for room it would be the 5. The thing is is that the 3 g ha more surface area than the 5 wich is a tall tank.

no,go with the 3,betta dont really like tall tanks,they like wide surface tanks,they come from a swallow river
