I use one for light cleaning on my substrate from time to time, but for a 100% water change on bowls (which should be done at least weekly), how do you get all the water out with one?
I don't think turkey basters are as common in the UK. It's a piece of kitchen equipment that's like an oversized pipette. It has a long tube and a rubber bulb on the end. You might be able to find one in the supermarket or in a kitchen supply shop.
