Betta With Great Attitude

Well unfortunatley I came home to find that my 2 Mollies Jumped out of the tank and they were dry , any way, here is going to be my stocking of my mild tempered Betta (Skylar) tank:

10g:
Male Betta (Skylar, Current)
Ivory Apple Snail (Sunjay, Current)
2 Rosy Red Minnows

I heard that Rosy Reds do well in tropical water temp and so I thought I'd experiment with it. What do you guys think?

Don't rosy reds get pretty big? I've kept neons and white clouds with my betta.

I think they only get to be about 3". And this is going to be for the winter until I get a heater for their pond.

How on earth did they jump out? Wasn't it coverd?

I dont know, my brother probally opened the lid to look at them and forgot to close it. Surprisingly the betta didnt jump. Me and my brother got in a fight casue he was in the room the whole day and so he couldve checked on them.
