Betta

Are there any other fish you can put with a betta or do they like to be alone.

they are best alone- they don't really need or want company.

betta prefer to be alone, but you could try some snails, amano, or ghost shrimp or an ADF if you wanted to add some diversity to the tank.

I have been told Bettas like to be alone, buy I do have one now in a tank with neon/glowlight tetras. They seem to be doing okay. I also have one betta with three zebra danios. They too seem to be doing okay. The betta with the danios let's them know who is the boss in the tank. I think our bettas are pretty friendly, so far. I don't want to jinkx anything. Good luck.
