Well Im gonan order a book to read up on marine tanks a little more and was just wondering what you guys thought was a better book:

"The New Marine Aquarium" by Michael Paletta

or

"Conscientious Marine Aquarist" by Robert Fenner

Has anyone read either and think ones better than the other. I will read both, but for now can only get one, is one better suited than the other for a first reading.

Theyr'e different books really . NMA is good for setup , especially for newbies. Some ofthe equipment info in CMA is out of date, but the theory and philosophy, especially around picking fish is just unbeatable.
Getting both will not be a waste of money. If you need to you could no doubt resell NMA on here and get some money back.

Well What Ill do is start with NMA and read it and get as much knowledge on equipment and what ever I can, because right now Im still reconditioning my tank, so I think it could help me currently, and before I stock the tank Ill read CMA for its benefits.

Thanks guys
