this multipunctatus is about 10 months and about 5.5".i think this one is a male my other is much smaller and lighter in color

I don't know anything about that particular fish, how big will he/she get eventually? Looks like you have a nice tank there

thanks. i think he might be a she.someone from another pointed that out to me. multies get around 6" to 8".

he/she is with mostly african cichlids.4 pseudotropheus ,2 fuelleborni,3 tropheus,2 loaches and 2 abermites.my pH is around 7.5 and alot of plants and stone for them to play around in.

I have always enjoyed multis. as far as I know they are the only synodontis that uses mouthbrooders to incubate the eggs.
(friend of mine told me that his petricolas substrate bred normally).
if you are able to get your LFS to order Synodontus Njasse. the only syno that is in Lake Malalw. it's colours are reversed of the Multipunctatus.

from what ive read they get 6" to 8" tank raused. i will start looking for that Njassa. i bet that is one cool color combo.
