so the case is .. i've lost about 9 fish in the past 3 days.. every fish that goes missing seems to have part of it's stomach missing.. i do water changes weekly and i'm in the process of doing one now.. the parameters are..

ph- 7.6
alkalinity- 120
hardness- 120
nitrite- .5ppm
nitrates- 200ppm i think that could have something to do with the problem..

but i dont know about the missing stomach??

Missing stomaches...? Are their stomachs slowly disappearing or do you just see them with missing stomachs when they're dead? Either way, you MUST get your ammonia and nitrites at 0. Your nitrates are extremely high, so high that I would suggest taking a sample of your water into your LFS to have another test done. There may be something wrong with your test kit.

I would take a sample of the water, then do a large 50% water change ASAP.

the stomachs are just missing but i dont know what fish would be eating them? but i'm pretty sure my test kit is right because yesterday it was only about 40 and then today it just like shot up and i tested for ammonia and its at zero so hopefully the nitrites will drop.. we'll see what happens.. i'll probably take a sample down to the LFS.. but for now i'm hoping my danios and tetra will stay alive.. and i did about a 50 % water change earlier so we'll see..

ok are the fish extremely skinny prior to dying? i had two zebra danios... they were big and happy, then got really skinning so skinny their head was bigger than their stomach, they died and next day their stomach was missing like it had been eaten. If they fish got super skinny before dying you have a parasite, but if they just died and then something ate their stomach you have a hungry fish i would say.

Get your water tested at lfs with different test kit it will help figure out if yours is right or if your misreading or it will verfiy that it is acurate. How long has the tank been setup?

the tank has been set up since like.. december so i mean it's a well established tank but to go with the parasite thing i think that might be it because they did seem kind of skinny before they all died so i don't know i'll look into it.
