If you're using Bio Spira, you just add it to the water. Are you planning on adding it to your existing tank, or a new one? If it's the one you already have, how long has it been running?

Its on a new 10 gallon im fishless cycling. Im tying to build the bacteria on the penguin 150 i have running on it. Then im gonan switch it with my existing tank.
Unfortunatly im gonna use biozyme cause thats all i could find locally. I've heard alot of people say its a waste of money but i found it for 2 bucks so i thought id give it a shot, at least to speed up the process.
wow that is cheep. Bio Spira was 14 bucks for me. I had to buy 2 packs of them for my tank. But I think it would work just the same. But to answer ur question I would just put it straight into the water. It will all end up in the filter and in the tank no matter where you put it.
