Black Ghost Knife tank size?

What's the miniumum tank size for a black ghost knife? I know they get pretty big. I really want to get one, but I need to know what tank size I could get for one.

Well, a 29 gallon could support a little 3 inch knife for 2, maybe three months... mine has grown really fast in the 9 months i've had it. I keep mine in a 55 gallon, but I may have to upgrade down the line. I've never talked to anyone whose knife got over 12-14 inches, though... i'd love to, if anyone has had a knife that big!

I'd say 55 absolute minimal for "adult," but it may grow over 12 inches...

I would have to say that at least a 55 gal tank or maybe a 75 gal. I think someone else had posted that as info earlier. Something about them getting to be a foot long or something.
