I have a black moor which I recently noticed has some large raised grey colorations on its sides and eyes. It looks as though it could be some kind of body fungus but not sure. Tried using pima fix for a week, but notice no change infact the size of the patches seems to have increased a small bit, it also seems as if she is loosing weight. She is acting normally acept for her dorsal fin is tight to her body at all times. Not quite sure what to do next. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Well if one medication doesn't work...best thing to do is to try a different medication. If you've tried a fungal medication, then try one for bacterial infections?

If at all possible its best to seperate the sick fish so that you dont have to medicate the entire tank.

Also, the clamped fin can be caused by stress so you want to minimize their stress as much as possible. If you dont have any live plants, leave the lights off for the majority of the day. If you dont have any fish/critters that are sensitive to salt, you should add a bit of salt to the tank. (I'm not sure how much...might do a search for it...but I know that mollies like some salt in their water)

Good luck!
