I bought four black neon tetras on Monday, and they have been doing well in the 20 g tank. Today though I came home from school and they all just stay still in one corner. They move slightly up and down but for the large part they just stay still in one place. I don't think there's an air shortage in the tank since the zebra danios are swimming left and right. Can someone help!!! I checked the ph and its 7.0 and the water hardness is around 7.
THANKS!!!

They were always swimming around before. I also noticed that they are chased around by the danios A LOT. Will that be the cause of them staying still at the corner and not swim around?

I also checked my water, and everything seems to be fine.

The danios chasing them could be the reason they are in the corner. Danios are like fish on speed, they never stop. Some slow moving, more peacable fish like tetras get disturbed by such activity and chasing that they hide. If all your water chemistries check out, I would add more rock and plant decor to your tank. The black neon tetras are more of a mid-water bottom fish, and if they don't feel secure (ie -lots- of decor) in their environment, they'll go right to the corner and stay there. If they have enough cover on the bottom of their tank, and the danios stay in the top of the tank, the two should live together just fine.

Give them time to adjust to their new surroundings, too, which can take a few weeks.  Once they've settled in, you'll notice a difference in their behavior.  They do like places to hide when they're in the mood for that, so having plants in the tank will help.

Over time, the Black Neons will probably get used to the spazzy danios.  Who knows, they might even interact with the danios.  -My Black Neons were freaked out by my SAEs at first, but then starting joining in and frolicking along with them.

Also, they've gone through the stress of being in transit to the fish store, new conditions in the fish store, transit to your home and the new conditions in your tank.  Give them time and let them get settled in.
