any owners. im just bought one about a week ago and it´s fine eating regular fish pellets. will this hurt or should i try something different. all owner please comment of just send my an email. thanks for your help.

They also like tubifex worms and blackworms, preferred live, but will take freeze-dried and frozen. Regular fish pellets should not hurt. Make sure they have some form of cave for decoration, they like to hide.

they can get 20" long a tunnel they can fit theyre whole body into should be provided pvc pipe or clear rodent cage tubes are ok, clear ones allow you to see them while they are hiding during hte day, they arent agressive but if a fish will fit in its mouth they will eat it becuase to them its just food, soak pellets in a cup of water first so they dont swell inside the fish
