Blackskirts and Female Bettas

I know that blackskirt tetras get rather nippy with male bettas, but are they the same way with females? I'd like to get maybe 3 females for my 29g, but I don't want the fish to get hurt from it. So anyone have experience with this?

I don't know. It is probably best not to try.

I've never had a betta with blackskirts but I know that they are fin nippers, I wouldn't put a female with the blackskirts either. Fin nippers and bettas just don't go together.
