Hello everyone, its been a couple years since i was last on here and in my second year of college i realized i couldnt make it with out one. So this weekend i am going to go home and get one of my 29gal tanks. It will be in my living room in my apartment that is always full of guys, due to the fact that i play baseball. So i want to go all out and make it a nice planted tank. My problem comes when i think about what i want to stock it with. I realllllly want to do 3 baby pirahnas, but i know they will out grow the tank. My concern is i wont have access to my 75gal tank until a year from now. Do you think that is to long of a wait to move them? Also i was want to add one medium sized pleco, but not sure how that will fair. What im really looking for is a freshwater fish that is an attention grabber. I want something that my roommates will think is cool as well, but i cant think of any other fish really. Ive looked through abunch of cichlids but nothing grabs my attention. So if you have another idea of fish or any suggestions lets here it!

I'm a fan of some of the more exotic freshwater fish, like the elephant noses and such, tho I am not sure how much of an attention-grabber they are... Maybe some of the smaller shark species?

If tell a group of guys that there are pirahna in the tank over there, itll have there attention. haha. The redtailed black shark i like but the last one i had jumped out. Balas i like but they get bigger than pirahnas. I think ive changed my spectrum completely. Im either going to go with a native tank or a tank with a freshwater puffer depending on if i can find any at my lfs.
