my fish seems bloated in the front. Could it be from food eaten or is it a result of some sort of disease like dropsy? Dropsy symptoms also say that your fish will have protruding scales and I dont see any protruding scales on my fish.

Thanks.

just like a regular pea that we would eat? Yeah I notice a shade of red in her feces but I cant tell if its blood or if its pink from the fish flakes she eats. I know this is kind of.. gross.. but is there a specific color it should be?

Fish will usually poop the color of the food they eat. Once I had a sample that came with a tank, and my fish had neon pink poop.

Is this your angelfish? It could be holding eggs, or it might have overeaten. Does it just look like it overate? If so, don't feed for a day or two and see if that helps. Are you missing any other fish from the tank?

If you decide to feed a pea, take the outer shell off the pea, as that is hard for fish to digest.

It may have overeaten. It eats just about EVERYTHING. Any little left over flakes it can find, itll eat. and when i go to feed it, it acts like I havent fed it in like a month or something. Itll scarf up those flakes so fast its not even funny. She did end up eating my ghost shrimp I used to have, which kind of upset me because the lady at the place where I bought my fish told me that ghost shrimp would be fine with an angel and being a beginner with angelfish and tanks- i didnt know any better. Lately my angel has been more agressive. It keeps trying to attack/eat my bottom feeder. Im not quite sure what kind of bottom feeder it is but its orange (slightly pale now im guessing because of tank conditions or stress) and its kind of a small nippy fish that seems like it shouldnt be with an angel. But once again it was a bottom feeder that the lady at the fish store actually recommended to me. Im not quite sure what to do with my bottom feeder.. I cant take it out because I have no other place for it.. The only other fish I have are two bettas and im guessing if an angelfish wants to eat my bottom feeder..so do bettas.
Anyways.. I have also seen neon pink poop from my angel. Im guessing she maybe just overate. Are all angelfish as hungry as mine seems to be?

yep thats what it is. Id like to take it out.. I have a 2 and a half gallon tank that i dont use anymore..maybe I could put it in there with a few other small fish? Only problem is that tank doesnt have a heater..idk if this bottom feeder prefers really high heated temperatures or not..
