Blue gourami might have ick

ok today b4 i left for school i saw that of my blue gourmamis has white like pimples no exactly flat but budding a little bit i think its ick but i dont know its a female i belive i added aquarim salt this morning just in case so it dosent spread please help me thats 1 of my oldest fish

Since you have an empty 10 gallon you should try and set up a hospital tank to treat her until you're sure if she has ICK (if that's the case the whole tank needed to be treated) or a bacterial infection (then likely just she needs to be treated). You'll need to post more information though like what the water perameters are in your tank.

hi im steve new here ive had sume problems with this to and foumd out if you raze the temp 3 or4 degrees as well as adding tha right medicen it kills tha ick quicker by speeding up tha development of tha spores tha medicen them cand work aparantly tha medicen dosnt work on tha spores

Tank buddies make a dissolvable pellet that you put in your tank. If the tank is over 40g you have to let it fizz before you put in your tank. It will turn the color of the water blue for a couple hours and may dye your sealent blue as well. This product works without turning the temp up and cures most ich cases within a day. I have used it several times in the past and even the most extreme cases have been cured in two doses/days. Just remove your carbon from your filter and you are good to go.
