The only problem I'm having understanding, is this blue fish a blue mbuna? or a blue zebra?

The guy in the lower left is a Red Zebra I think?

Now this guy here, the blue one, is he a Blue Mbuna? or a Blue Zebra?

It is just they both look very similar, and I'm not sure the exact difference. That and the fact that there is already a red zebra, so It got me to thinking that it could be a blue zebra if they came from the same breeder?

Mbuna is the malawian word to describe a small rock dwelling fish. There are a few hundred different species of them, and I suppose 100 or so of them are blue. So blue mbuna isn't much help.

Mind you , of that lot about 80% of them are stripy and called blue zebra, so that's a pretty hopeless name as well to identify a particular fish
