Blue ram question

Ok, so I went to petco (my lfs) yesterday to see if they had all of the types of fish that I want for my 15 ish gallon tank. They've got the neons, the african dwarf frog, and a "blue ram cichlid" now, is this the same as a german ram, or is it that other one (bolivian?)? Just wanting to make sure...

And one more thing: when I pick my dwarf frog, what whould I look for in a healthy frog?

Blue ram is the same as a German ram.

For the frog, make sure it's not bloated, and doesn't have any redness on its legs. Try to pick one of the more active ones.

Mke sure you take one of the more active frogs, make sure its not bloated, or any discolorations.

But is the Bolivian Blue Ram the same as the German Blue Ram, My LFS sells the Bolivians but I see no difference at all.

The Bolivian is quite different. In size shape and color.

Hmm, the ones labeled in my LFS as Bolivians look exactely like the Germans. They suck, well at labeling anyways. Thanks Pure

the most noticeable differance is that the german blue rams have a lot of blue speckiling over their bodies while bolivians have a lot less colour and are somewhat duller.

As to the frog, look carefully to make sure it has no defects. I got two; one is fine, the other's head tilts back just a little. It has never eaten well. It is now emaciated and I'm expecting it to die, while the other one is fat and active. I named it 'Stupid' because it's so hard to get it to take a worm.
