Blue rams and ich

Ok... my rams have been home and in quarantine for six days now waiting to go into the planted tank. Last night, Mr. Sluggo came by with a can of ich I know that these guys are sensitive to meds so I think I'll try the salt/heat method. Are there any special precautions that I should take with rams?

BTW... I rest my case in favor of ALWAYS using a quarantine tank for new fish! Cause' if I hadn't...

Never had any problems with my rams and meds. Turn up the heat to 86 heck he can even deal with 88, and dose full strength.

i got rid of ich on my old appisto by bumping the temp up to 86, rams are sensitive to meds, try the heat method.

Moved the temp up from 76 to 81 yesterday. Bumping it up another five throughout the day today. Added 1tsp/per gal salt. No spots this afternoon. They are acting normally -eating, active, fin flaring, and good color. So far so good
